There are many potential sources of relevant moose habitat information, such as: CAFN heritage department, CAFN records from elders (which might be available through the CAFN Renewable Resources department which also has information from Traditional Knowledge workshops), and past studies by YDRR. This program will begin as an assignment to a YDRR technician who will prepare information for entry on GIS. It should be noted that such information will continually be acquired through other programs, e.g. on-the-land observers, monitoring surveys, etc.
