Actions: Look into means of limiting harvests in B.C. portions of the Alsek Area if required.

A comparison of hunting activities in B.C. with the sustainable harvest for the Alsek moose management units may disclose areas that are being overhunted due to limited access focusing hunting pressure on small areas. In this case it will be necessary to develop a system of limiting the harvest in such areas with regulations that are compatible with the B.C. system. A precedent may be available in the current permit system for goats, which has been jointly established by Yukon and B.C.
