Actions: Determine harvestable number of moose by management unit and sex.

For each moose management unit, the safe harvest of bulls only will be determined, as well as a harvest which includes cows. Then decisions will be made as to how many cows could be taken and from where in relation to the patterns of First Nation traditional hunting and the resident permit system to ensure there is sustainable harvesting in each management unit (see also Concern/Overhunting). Workshop suggestions for administration of the cow harvest were by CAFN permit only, or exclusively to elders.
