Action: Figure out and use ways to tell the public about moose and their management in the Alsek Area.

One suggestion was for the ARRC to produce a booklet that not only explains the moose distribution and status in Alsek but also the management program that is dedicated to maintaining a healthy moose population in the area. The booklet might also direct people to potential moose viewing areas such as calving habitat on the Alsek River which is only accessible by boat (note: disturbance warnings may also be advisable). Other suggestions included a gazebo and/or interpretive sign at an appropriate site. The YDRR Conservation Education section could be very helpful with these or other suggestions.
