Solution 2: Provide opportunities for the public to view moose.

For hikers and boaters touring the Alsek Area, some means of directing them to potential moose viewing areas may be considered (such as a map in the moose booklet prepared by the ARRC - Solution 1) although potential for disturbance and control of access must also be considered (see Recommendation 4). For the majority of people, however, viewing moose from the roadside would be the most popular option which means providing some roadside area that is free from other forms of disturbance like hunting (see Recommendation 5 and action below).
