Participate in YTG Protected Areas Strategy

A third avenue of habitat protection is the Yukon Protected Areas Strategy (YPAS) which includes a network of protected areas in the Yukon for conservation of representative ecoregions and other areas of particular value to the Yukon public. The strategy will rely heavily on the instruments and institutions created by the Umbrella Final Agreement and the First Nations Final Agreements. First Nations will be invited to the YPAS workshop scheduled for May, 1997.
