Establish network of wildlife observers on the land

A network of people who live on the land, especially in key areas, will be designated as wildlife observers who will make regular reports on wildlife in their area according to a format that will make possible some kind of comparison from year to year. These observations will be used in conjunction with other wildlife management programs in the plan such as wolf surveys, cow/calf ratios, etc. The Mayo Renewable Resources Council and the Alsek Renewable Resources Council should be contacted since they are planning similar programs.
